Jim Corbett National Park, which is one of the oldest and most prestigious national parks established in 1936, with the purpose of saving the endangered Bengal Tiger , though it was named Hailey National Park.
It wonderful park in the Nainital district of Uttrakhand.
Nearby to the Jim Corbett Park one may find best scenery, just over 520 square kilometers, there comprise of hills, marshy depressions, riverine belts, grasslands, & a large lake.
It is among the few tiger reserves in India that allow overnight stays in the lap of the National Park. Nature watch and wildlife viewing in the park is done in an open four-wheeler Jeep and on elephant back.
